Satisfying stories.

This is me, Nik

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in a small family. When we weren’t traveling, we were working. Growing up, I spent thousands of hours in firehouses, hospitals, forests, and mountains - all the while, collecting and witnessing great stories from my family and folk I met along the way. In college I majored in Journalism and Political Science, a convenient way to listen and share stories from around the world, but it wouldn’t be what satisfied the itch to create my own stories.

I tripled-up majors to include Advertising, where I would be exposed to a host of professions and specialties with interesting storytelling methods. After growing up using my hands, it felt natural creating in the same way; and photography became a hobby-turned-profession.

Every job, project, and opportunity for me is an exciting adventure - a journey to take in any number of ways.

So if you see me out there, let’s swap some stories.

Working With Me

A majority of my career has been freelance, but I enjoy working with a team the most. In a team, your ideas are sharpened by colleagues - alone, they take longer to refine. I enjoy the opportunity to work with people whenever I can because people have stories, and stories are measured by sharing, and sharing requires more than just me.

I’m an efficient worker, I don’t like wasting time but I’m not afraid of starting over if something doesn’t work out. Working to see from multiple angles is what allows me to capture what others overlook - perspective. Im a plug-and-play type guy, so put me in.
